Over 100 delegates attend annual Learning and Teaching Conference

The Association of Business Schools (ABS) and its partners the Higher Education Academy (HEA), British Academy of Management (BAM) and supporters Nottingham Trent University and the FT welcomed over 100 business school academics and post graduate students through various stages of their career to its annual Learning and Teaching Conference today.
Learning and teaching in universities is in the spotlight now more than ever.

EMDA's Legacy to live on at Nottingham Business School

emda will be closing in March 2012, and in order to ensure that the knowledge created through the Agency’s activities can continue to be made available to partners including Local Authorities and Local Enterprise Partnership (LEPs), it is establishing the emda Knowledge Bank in conjunction with Nottingham Business School.

Nottingham Business School Secures Chinese Partnership

A minimum of 15 senior executives from global communications companies, such as Motorola, will be undertaking a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) programme run by Nottingham Business School, part of Nottingham Trent University. The DBA at Nottingham Business School is designed for senior executives to apply the latest knowledge to their own organisations. It has been run with a variety of companies in up to ten countries across the globe.

Business School Dean is First Academic to Take Up Key CBI Post

Professor Yazdani has been leading Nottingham Business School, part of Nottingham Trent University, since 2006, during which time it has grown over 50%.  He has an extensive background in the automotive industry with previous roles including director of business and operations for Lincoln-Mercury in the USA and director of product development operations at Jaguar Land Rover.

Iconic New Home for Nottingham Business School

The move coincides with Nottingham Business School’s 30th anniversary celebrations and has seen over 200 staff members move to the iconic building at the heart of Nottingham City Centre. The move brings all Nottingham Business School staff together in the same building for the first time since the School’s formation in 1979.
